About mAKe

As a scientist, I know how difficult it is to explain your work to others. But it is important that we do try, because our work can make an impact! I am passionate about science and use art and effective communication skills, to bridge gaps.
Whether you’re a biologist, physicist, data scientist, modeller, historian, social scientist, chemist, surgeon, cat lover, or any other type of person, your story is interesting!

What I enjoy most about making videos and illustrations is how much I learned about the work that others do. And I truly hope to be learning a lot more in the future.

Anna

Artist and assistant professor

Art and science may be my two biggest hobbies. Seems contradictory? I don’t think so!
Art, just like science, is about observation and research, and science demands creativity, just like any form of art.
